Dr. Kamran Rafie earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California in 1992 and has proudly served the Granada Hills community since 2002. He provides general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry with a gentle, patient-first approach that puts comfort and clear communication at the center of every visit.

A member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association, Dr. Rafie co-founded Granada Hills Dental Group alongside his wife, Dr. Shadi Khoshbin. He speaks English, Spanish, and Farsi, making it easy for patients across our community to feel understood and at home.

Outside the office, Dr. Rafie enjoys tennis, basketball, soccer, hiking, and traveling. He is a father of two and a longtime, familiar face in the Granada Hills neighborhood.

Dr. Jonathan Akhavan earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from A.T. Still University and completed his periodontics residency at New York University. He is LANAP laser certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.

Dr. Akhavan focuses on periodontal care and dental implants, helping patients restore healthy gums and rebuild confident, fully functional smiles. His advanced training allows our practice to offer specialized treatment alongside comfortable, everyday care.
